The format of cookie ack data blockThis data block is only used when coupling is started. It is used to confirm the receipt of the cookie ehco data block. This data block must be sent before any data or sack data block is sent on the coupling, but this data block can be bundled with one or more data or sack data blocks and sent in a SCTP packet. There are no other parameters in the cookie ack data block. Figure 1 SCTP cookie ack format
The cookie ack data block only contains the data block flag (8bit), which is set to all 0 at the sender and ignored at the receiver.
